Only minutes away from the Golden Grove Holiday Park gate is the Baywave Aquatic Leisure Centre. This huge and ultra modern swimming complex opened in December 2005. Bring your family and use the brand new state of the art facilities including a 25m lap pool, a wave pool, toddler pool, spas and saunas, indoor hydro slide, café and crèche.

The unique Salt Water Hot Pools based at the foot of Mount Maunganui on Adams Avenue also provide great swimming options. The soothing hot pools are well known for their relaxing properties and are designed for the whole family to enjoy. The modern complex includes tepid lap pool, hot passive pool, aquajet spa pools and private pools all warmed to 39 degrees Celsius. Active pool and children's pool are 32 degrees. Refreshments and sun beds are available.
